there is a Christkindlesmarkt
just for children,

at Moritzplatz. Here under the
starry sky special attractions
are offered just for kids:
A big merry-go-round
glowing with Christmas lights,
the newly designed house of
activities where children can
draw, bake or work on crafts
to their hearts’ content and of
course, there is the witch’s
house with witch

Within Fugger monument,
donated by King Ludwig I
of Bavaria,

1857, in honor of
Hans Jakob Fugger,

who sold his valuable library
comprising 12,000 volumes
to the Bavarian duke for a very reasonable price.

This Fugger library
formed the basis later on for the
Bavarian State Library in Munich.
