Augsburg is conveniently accessible from the west,
north or east by means of the A 8 Munich-Stuttgart autobahn.
T R A I N
Deutsche Bahn (German railway) offers a fast as well
as comfortable connection.
Every large European city can be reached with the IC or ICE
at least once daily from Augsburg.
And from the main station it is only a few minutes by foot to the
Christkindlesmarkt (Christmas market).
B U S
Busses will proceed to the Park & Ride area at Augsburg-Plärrer,
entrance north at Badstrasse:
There a guide will come on board and pilot the driver to the
Christmas market in the city center.
The guest can leave the bus directly at the market and
the bus will return to the Park & Ride area.
The bus driver will be brought back to the
Christmas market by shuttle.

Car Parking
The Park & Ride area at the Plärrer, (Langenmantelstraße)
is open to all visitors of the Christmas market
from 24.11.to 24.12.2008.
The area is guarded from 5.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
Personnel is directing the cars to the parking spots.
Parking fee is 2,50 Euro (Monday - Friday),
3,50 Euro (Saturday and Sunday),
There is a streetcar stop next to the Park & Ride area.
The parking fee includes a free ride from the Plärrer
to the city center for 2 adults and kids under 14 years.
The ticket is valid throughout the day. (Zone 10)
